This is the continuation of the previous curve for AIMIII up to 600 users. It shows that there is a region between about 60 and 350 users where HP-UX performs slightly better than MK6-PA, but that above 350 users the MK6-PA results are better; this is certainly due to the VM enhancements (these measurements were on a machine with 32MBytes of memory, so the effect of the VM enhancements is noticeable at higher loads than for slide 2). The red curve, labelled "HP-UX 1 disk", is for HP-UX 9.05 with a single disk, whereas that labelled "HP-UX 2 disks" has an extra swap disk added (see remarks under slide 1). This shows that with a single disk HP-UX performance falls off rapidly above 200 users, and results cannot be obtained above 240 users (swap space exhausted).
