VideoBOX Combo

Bi-directionnal Multimedia Codec over ATM

The SILICOMP INGENIERIE VideoBOX Combo represents a significant advance in the cost effectiveness of real world ATM application. By use of an innovative shared UNI, VideoBOX Combo integrates a number of mission critical business functions such as Video, Ethernet onto a single ATM channel, without the need for an ATM switch. The VideoBOX Combo technology removes the need for each unit to connect individually to an ATM switch port, by allowing many adaptation units to share the same ATM interface.

  • High quality audio & video transmission
  • ATM 155 Mps multimode and singlemode connector
  • Ethernet networking extension over ATM
  • UNI 3.1 compliant
  • Software controlled
  • Compression Motion JPEG
  • Bi-directionnal connection for video and audio
  • Full support for ATM Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVCs) and SVCs (UNI 3.1 Signaling)

Benefits
